NOTES & PRACTICE: PREPOSITION



What is preposition?:
  • a preposition links nouns, pronouns and phrases in a sentence.
  • a short words (on, in, to) that usually stand in front of nouns 

How do we use preposition?
  • place it in front of nouns and gerunds.
  • used to describe an object
  • used to describe time and place.

What are the examples of prepositions?

  6. before
  7. in
